SUMMARY
Upon graduating High School in 1993 I had completed 2 years of Manual & CAD Drafting and
began to research schools with drafting programs. For the next year and a half I worked in the
Timber Industry and decided Technical School would be the best route. I furthered my
education by attending ITT Tech of Spokane where I graduated top 3 in their AAS CAD
program. I diversified my skill set taking a job at Teck Cominco with their Exploration Division.
They offered educational opportunities in GIS Mapping & Database design along with full-time
employment. Teck also offered added training in their IT/IS Department where I turned my
hobbies in PC/Networking into employment assets. After a down-cycle in metal prices Teck
financed the start of Tallmadge GIS & Drafting, LLC. I immediately began contracting for Teck
and diversified myself more in Drafting, GIS, & IT/IS services for the next few years. PRI/HFS
allowed me to gain experience in Environmental Cleanup & Management working as a Designer
performing Drafting & GIS services. In early 2012 I entered contract Drafting & GIS services
again as well as signing on with Humanix of Spokane in September of 2013. I accepted an
assignment at Digital Lizard operating & maintaining Digital Presses, adding experience in the
Publishing Industry.

Worked in the Press Room where jobs arrived electronically to HP 5000 & 7000 Series
Digital Presses. As a press operator I was responsible for calculating optimal efficiency
of work load from job specs then loading orders into appropriate presses. At the
completion of each job I performed a quality control check ensuring correct registration,
ink adherence, & print quality. After QC jobs were electronically logged & transferred to
the appropriate finishing department. During shifts we were required to monitor
consumables & stock each press & the press room as needed. Scheduled maintenance
was done to each press which included PIP, blanket, & impression paper replacement;
cleaning paper paths, sensors, & writing heads; installing bids; rebuilding ink tanks;
disposal of waste; & other assigned routines. I also assisted updating inventory counts
& placing supply orders. Several different shifts were available with opening where I
was assigned the majority of my time. Opening brought the responsibility of starting
presses & ensuring the press room ready for shifts coming in. At times I was asked to
be first on-site to open for other personnel.

Project Resources Incorporated & Honu'Apo Facilities Services were part of the team
responsible for cleanup of asbestos located at the Superfund Site in Libby, MT under
the direction of the Core of Engineers & EPA. I worked with the Technical Support
Group assisting the project with delivery of data, maps, & designs. We worked jointly
with CDM Smith Incorporate for the data acquisition & analysis. After analysis we
worked with Environmental Restoration, LLC developing exterior/interior clean-up
designs, maps, & support documentation. Shortly after joining this team I was put in a
lead role attending meetings & overseeing workflow through our group.

Worked with the Technical Services Department to assist in CAD Drafting & GIS
support. I worked closely with the Geology, Geophysics, & Land Tenure Department to
layout their electronic & field data. This combined the use of CAD & GIS to develop
working maps used to target potential ore bodies. We would periodically take working
maps & convert them into presentations for internal & external use. For the later part of
my work with Teck Cominco I was placed in a management position in the Tech Service
Dept where I had to oversee other drafters & subcontractors.
